Thanks to the girls - mixture of U15s and U13s - for a good game today against Girls Thames Fusion Fire U15 - first of the season for the West Ilsley U15s. The opposition set a tough target of 131, considerably helped by 2 very good batters. Well done to Evain and Hudson for their wickets and to all of the team for their accurate bowling.

Due to some very high powered - and at times terrifyingly fast balls the team did well to get a score of 55. Unlucky with some of the run-outs but commendable for trying to grab as many runs as they could! Well done to Cooper and Evain and Pilditch for their boundary hitting and to Evain for her valiant effort as last batter standing. A good team effort all round

Approaching from Reading along the A4, approximately 1 mile after driving through Hare Hatch and shortly after passing Castle Royal Golf & Country Club on your right, the road bends to the left and entrance to Knowl HIll CC is on the left side of the road through a metal gate. Please take care when approaching as the entrance doubles back from the road. There is parking on the grass around the edge of the pitch.
